I’ll admit that these didn’t look like much when I was shaping them into burger shapes and placing them in the fridge. And I also accidentally made them gluten free, because I tried to make breadcrumbs from freshly-made bread and made dough clumps instead. So the coating is almond flour and it worked fine!
They tasted great, however, and were surprisingly filling. We ate them for lunch and I actually forgot to be hungry around mid-afternoon (I am always hungry). Unfortunately though, I promised the Munchkins that I would never make them again (too spicy apparently, and that’s using only half the quantity of cayenne pepper), so I will have to secretly make them for myself one day.
